Climate debate: RENIXX (Renewable Energy Industrial Index) World continues record performance - up 7.2% in April
Münster - For the sixth month in a row, the RENIXX (Renewable Energy Industrial Index) World posted an increase, once again setting a new record. According to the International Economic Platform for Renewable Energies (IWR) in Münster, Germany, the renewable stock index of 20 leading international companies in the industry rose 7.23% in April 2007 alone, closing at 1235.51 points. The stock exchange barometer for the renewable energy industry has already increased 33.48% from the start of this year through the end of April.
