Dr. Rolf Bierhoff leaves REpower Supervisory Board - Filing of the legal appointment of Mr. Tulsi Tanti


Hamburg - The long-time member of the Supervisory Board of REpower Systems AG (WKN 617 703), Dr. Rolf Bierhoff, announced that he would be leaving the Supervisory Board of REpower Systems AG to enable the new shareholder Suzlon to become a member of the Supervisory Board. To this end, REpower will file for the legal appointment of Suzlon΄s Chairman Tulsi Tanti to the Supervisory Board.

Dr. Bierhoff had been member of the Supervisory Board since December 2001.

“On behalf of the entire Supervisory Board, I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Bierhoff for his major commitment and the work he performed for the Company,” commented Bertrand Durrande, Chairman of REpower Systems AG΄s Supervisory Board. Prof. Dr. Fritz Vahrenholt, Chairman of the Management Board at REpower Systems AG, added: “The Management Board would also like to thank Dr. Bierhoff for his effective collaboration over the past years. Due to his long-time experience in the energy sector he could constantly provide us with expert advice.”
