e.n.o. energy has sold wind farm portfolio
Rerik - With the sale of a project portfolio in March 2009, the company e.n.o. energy from Rerik / Rostock starts successfully into the new year. The 6 wind farms are mainly provided with machines from Vestas and Enercon. The commission took place between 2007 and 2009. So a total German project portfolio of 26.7 MW was sold.
Mid of the last year, e.n.o. has announced to sell some wind projects from its own portfolio through a tender. The reaction of global investors was extremely positive.
After examination of the numerous offers, a contract was concluded for the complete portfolio with an infrastructure fund from the Benelux.
Within this transaction, with a financial volume of approximately € 50 million, e.n.o. energy could fulfil the earning expectations for 2009 already. In the today’s difficult economic environment, this is of particular importance.
The sale of turnkey wind farms to international investors is one of three business segments of the e.n.o. energy group. Furthermore, the e.n.o. energy acts is a operating wind farms by themselves (IPP) and is increasing this business constantly. Right now, e.n.o. energy also starts the sale and serial production of the own wind turbine e.n.o. 82.
During the year, the e.n.o. prepares their next wind project portfolio, which then also will include wind farms with the e.n.o. 82 – 2.0MW and projects abroad. Depending on the size and the market situation, this will be announced internationally.
