Vestas to deliever 34 MW to Italy

Aarhus, Denmark - Vestas has received an order for 34 MW consisting of 17 units of the V100-2.0 MW turbine for the Palazzo San Gervasio wind farm in Basilicata, Italy.

The order has been placed by ERG Renew. The company owns an installed capacity of 1,062 MW in the country, and a total capacity of 1,232 MW throughout Europe. The contract comprises installation and commissioning of the turbines. Delivery of the turbines for the wind power plant is expected to start during the second half of 2013 and the project is expected to be commissioned by the end of the year.
