Siemens extends onshore wind farm with offshore turbine

Hamburg - New additions are coming to the community-owned Norderhof wind farm in the town of Galmsb

Six more Siemens wind turbines will raise the generating capacity of this onshore wind power plant to 37.7 megawatts (MW). The new installations with 3.6 megawatt each will be erected in the late summer of 2014. The extension is scheduled to go on line in September 2014. The contract also includes maintenance of the wind farm for a 20-year period.
