PNE Wind AG receives approval for the UK wind farm project Penbreck

South Lanarkshire Council approved six turbines, with a further three turbines sited in East Ayrshire which will be considered in a separate application. The Penbreck Wind Farm's turbines will have a maximum tip height of 125m each, with an installed capacity of 3 MW and the potential output of the site is 27 MW.

"We are pleased that the efforts of our colleagues in Edinburgh over the past few years is now paying off with the receipt of this permit, which marks another major operational success in the development of our UK wind farm portfolio," said Markus Lesser Chief Operational Officer (COO) at PNE Wind AG.
