Yingli surpasses 10 GWs of global Solar module deliveries

Boading, China

According to the company, when fully operational, the total power generated annually by Yingli's deployed fleet could power an estimated four million average homes, and is equivalent to nearly one fifth of China's total residential power consumption in 2013. Each year, the modules will offset approximately 6.8 million tons of carbon emissions when compared to conventional coal generation, which is equivalent to planting more than 340 million trees.

As Yingli points out, the company has now delivered more than 40 million solar PV modules to over 50 countries and regions across the globe. They are installed in a broad range of systems, from high-profile projects at FIFA World Cup
