Solarworld AG keeps on growing

Bonn, Germany - In a group interim report on the third quarter of 2014, released, SolarWorld AG confirms its business results preliminarily reported.

In the first nine months of 2014, the group raised its shipments of solar modules and kits by 54 percent to 602 (Q1-Q3 2013: 390) MW. The company achieved its strongest growth in the United States, France, the United Kingdom and Japan. In these markets, SolarWorld managed to double its business volume, compared with the same period last year. In Germany, the company saw a slight increase from January to September 2014, despite a decline of the German market as a whole. The company started off into the fourth quarter of 2014 with an order backlog of 350 MW. Orders stretch into 2015.
