Offshore wind farm Butendiek produces first kilowatt hours

Bremen - The offshore wind farm Butendiek in the North Sea started operation of its first wind turbines.

This is reported by wpd, the Bremen wind developer and operator.

All foundations, cables and the substation were installed according to schedule during the last year. Today the first of the 24 turbines so far installed started production and are feeding-in its first kilowatt hours into the public grid.
