Gamesa secures new order for the supply of 78 MW in the United States

Under the terms of the contract signed, Gamesa will transport, install and commission 37 of its G114-2.1 MW turbines at this wind farm. The turbines are slated for delivery in 2016, with commissioning to be completed the same year. Optimized for low and medium wind speed sites, the G114-2.1 MW is one of Gamesa's most competitive models to date. The company has a solid presence in the United States, where it has installed over 4,150 MW and currently services close to 1,500 MW. This country accounted for 15% of Gamesa's total MW sold in the first half of 2015.
