Gamesa enters into a 103 MW-supply agreement in the US
Zamudio, Spain - Gamesa, a global technology leader in wind energy, has signed its first contract with Canada's Enbridge, specifically for the supply of 103 MW to the New Creek wind farm being developed in the state of West Virginia. The company will install 45 G97-2.1 MW and four G90-2.0 MW wind turbines at a wind farm being developed in the state of West Virginia. According to Gamesa this marks another milestone in the companie
This agreement marks the start of the firm's business relationship with Enbridge, a leading North American energy delivery company with a renewable energy portfolio of nearly 2,000 MW. It also reinforces Gamesa's strategy in the US where its solid and well-diversified customer base has translated into the installation of 4,150 MW to date. In the first nine months of this year, the US represented 11% of the company's sales volumes (by MW).
