E.ON installs first foundations at Rampion Offshore Wind Farm

Duessledorf - Following the accomplished offshore wind projects Humber Gateway and Amrumbank West E.ON continues to battle the elements.

The company has announced that the first turbine foundation for Rampion project in the UK will be installed this week. The project remains on schedule, despite adverse weather conditions that already disrupted enabling works to prepare the seabed for the 116 turbines.

The 400 megawatt project supports E.ON
