PNE WIND AG sells the

Karlsruhe/Cuxhaven - PNE WIND AG has sold the “Görike-Söllenthin” (Brandenburg) wind farm with three wind energy systems and a nominal output of six megawatts to EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG. At this site EnBW operates five wind energy systems since 2010 which with this purchase has been expanded.

Two of the wind energy systems are already in operation and are producing environmentally friendly electricity. The third system is currently under construction and will shortly be completed. The project development and construction of the wind farm was carried out by PNE WIND AG. With the signing of the contract, the wind farm has now been handed over to the purchaser EnBW Erneuerbare Energien GmbH. PNE WIND AG will provide operational management services for the “Görike-Söllenthin” wind farm for a transitional period of time.

The wind energy systems erected in the wind farm can fulfill the annual electricity requirements of more than 4,000 average private households. At the same time, the systems will make a significant contribution to environmental protection because the electricity production from these wind turbines will lead to annual emission savings of about 8,000 tons of carbon dioxide and other pollutants.

In the region, EnBW operates 14 wind turbines. \"We are pleased that we can expand our portfolio with the “Görike-Söllenthin” wind farm. The purchase complements our own development and helps us achieve our expansion goals even faster\" explains Dirk Güsewell, Management Board member of EnBW Erneuerbare und Konventionelle Erzeugung AG.

Martin Billhardt, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PNE WIND AG, commented: “We are pleased that we are again able to hand over a modern and efficient wind farm to EnBW. With the completion of the “Görike-Söllenthin” wind farm we have completed one of our many projects in Germany. The PNE WIND Group currently has wind farms with about 100 MW of nominal output currently under construction which it also intends to commission and market in the short term”.
