LEINE LINDE SYSTEMS at the Husum Wind 2015: Generator slip ring GSR and the preventive ice detection system IPMS

Hamburg - From 15th to 18th September 2015 the Husum Wind 2015 will take place: the LEINE LINDE SYSTEMS will present the first time the new GSR slip ring, a generator slip ring for various double-fed asynchronous. In addition to this, the enhanced version of the preventive ice detection system IPMS will be shown live on the booth in Hall 4.

Generator slip ring as a service spare parts or for the OEMs
GSR - the newly developed generator slip ring for the rotor slip ring replacement with double-fed asynchronous generators brands ABB, Weier and Leroy Somer in the power range of 850 kW to 3 MW. The GSR has a universal hole pattern and can thus be used in many generators. Such generators are typically often mounted in Vestas® wind turbines of type V52 - V90.
The GSR has undergone a successful one year field test and is officially available from Husum Wind 2015. The same applies to the corresponding attachments made of metal or plastic, as well as for the rotary encoder Leine & Linde XHI 893 including pluggable connection line. In hall 4, booth D04, the GSR can be seen live.

Recognize ice before it causes damage or to reduce your daily earnings
As a rule normal ice sensors detect ice only if it has already formed. IPMS - the highly accurate, preventive ice detection system of LEINE LINDE SYSTEMS recognizes the danger of frost and icing earlier than conventional ice sensors and reports this even automatically to the operator. In addition, a video live stream can be displayed to the operator via the built in IPMS Live Video, also the current status of wind turbine blades, the actual weather conditions on the site and the wind turbine environment.
The IPMS - for more security for people, vehicles and buildings and shorter downtimes in case of icing of the rotor blades.
The LEINE LINDE SYSTEMS GmbH shows the IPMS live at booth D04 in hall 4.
