Nigeria plans 225 MW hydropower project

Gurara Falls, Nigeria - The government in Nigeria's Niger state will build the largest private hydropower plant.

Sani Ndanusa, the state commissioner for the Department of Works and Infrastructural Development, said the $ 400 million project will consist of two segments, the hydropower and the water supply. Ndanusa explained the project will begin by October.
