Ebert Erneuerbare Energien Sells Part of The Grohnde Wind Farm to Trianel

Frankfurt am Main, Germany – The Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co. KG (TEE is further expanding the share of wind energy in its portfolio in Germany. Together with the municipal utilities involved, TEE has acquired three wind turbines of the Grohnde wind farm in Lower Saxony.

The turbines are sold by project developer Ebert Erneuerbare Energien GmbH & Co. KG, which planned, constructed and commissioned the wind farm. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The advisory firm Capcora was responsible for the transaction as a sell-side advisor.

The Grohnde wind farm has a total of eight Vestas 136-3.45 wind turbines with a capacity of 27.6 megawatts (MW). The turbines were erected in the municipality of Emmerthal in the Lower Saxony district of Hameln-Pyrmont, around 40 kilometres south-west of Hanover. The wind farm has been connected to the grid since the end of 2018 and is operated by several operators under a pooling model. The three turbines acquired by TEE will be included in the Stadtwerke portfolio as Trianel Windpark Emmerthal with a total capacity of 10.35 MW.

“We thank Capcora for their support in selling our three wind turbines. With Trianel we have gained an experienced and professional partner for our wind project - we look forward to the joint operation of our Grohnde wind farm, ”says Tim Ebert, managing partner of Ebert Erneuerbare Energien GmbH.
