Tender: Albioma Wins 12 MWp PV Projects in France

Paris, France - French independent renewable power producer Albioma has won two tenders in France for the construction and operation of solar power plants with a total capacity of 12.1 Megawatt peak (MWp). The first tender is for the so-called Non Interconnected Zones (ZNI), while the second is for mainland France (Innovation tender June 2020, period 3).

In the August 2020 ZNI tender, 17 Albioma projects with a total capacity of 7.6 MWp (rooftop systems, including storage) have been awarded. These projects are located on the islands of Reunion, Martinique and Guadeloupe. The ZNI include Corsica in the Mediterranean, La Réunion and Mayotte in the Indian Ocean, Guadeloupe and Martinique in the Caribbean, St-Pierre et Miquelon in the North Atlantic and Guyane in South America. The mainland project awarded is a 4.5 MWp PV plant in the department of Aude in the south of the country. Construction of the PV plants is scheduled to start in 2021.

Currently, the Albioma share, which is listed in the regenerative share index RENIXX-World, is trading at a price of 45.85 euros (Dec. 28, 2020, 09:26 a.m., Stuttgart Stock Exchange). Since the beginning of the year, the share price has thus increased by almost 80 percent.
