Wind Farm "Skolivska": Nordex Receives Further Order From Ukraine

Hamburg, Germany - Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has received a further order from Ukraine. The Nordex Group is supplying ten N149/5.X turbines for the 54.6 MW "Skolivska" wind farm for the Eco-Optima Group.

The "Skolivska" wind farm is the first Ukrainian project to use Nordex turbines of the 5 MW class. The wind farm is being built near the city of Lviv in western Ukraine. Construction will begin in spring 2022, Nordex announced.

"We are glad to strengthen our presence in Ukraine by starting the construction of one of the biggest wind farms in the west of the country," said Slava Feklin, Managing Director Ukraine/CIS of Nordex Group.

Nordex had already received an order from Ukraine at the beginning of October 2021. The Turkish Eksim Yatirim Holding A.S. has ordered 14 N149/4.X turbines for the "Skole" wind farm with a capacity of 67.2 MW.
