More Solar Power: Energiequelle Sells French Solar Park To Watt & Co

Decize, France - Energiequelle has sold the Decize solar park in France to Watt & Co. The park, with a total capacity of 14.7 MW, was developed by Energiequelle's French subsidiary P&T in cooperation with EREA Ingenierie.

Watt & Co is a family-owned project developer and investor that focuses mainly on the solar sector and has been active in this field for more than 10 years. Watt & Co operates a total of 60 MW of solar projects in France, with over 300 MW in the late stages of project development.

Julia Timm, project sales manager at Energiequelle, is pleased with the successful sale: "We hope to establish a fruitful and long-term business relationship with Watt & Co. The collaboration was always constructive and very pleasant."

In France, solar plants with 12,900 MW (2021: 10,235 MW) were in operation at the end of 2021. The previous photovoltaic capacity record was set on 08.07.2022 with 10,584 MW.
