Corporate Growth: UKA Develops Successfully In The First Half Of 2022

Meissen, Germany - The UKA Group continues to be on an expansion course. Measured by the awards in the previous tender rounds in 2022 in the order of 119 megawatts (MW), the group Group ranked among the top three in the first half of 2022 - as in the full years of 2020 and 2021.

In total, UKA received awards for 451 MW in the tenders during this period. UKA has thus become a top tier German wind onshore developer., the company said.

In order to be able to commission the successfully developed projects, UKA recently extended its framework agreement with Nordex Group. The cooperation currently covers a volume of 80 wind turbines, which corresponds to a capacity of about 500 MW.

With the development of solar parks, UKA has also opened up a further segment of renewable energies. The latest implementation success was the recent commissioning of a solar park in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony.

UKA intends to further expand its market position in the coming years. The basis for this is the well-filled project pipeline. In Germany, for example, UKA has wind onshore projects with a volume of around 1,200 MW (1.2 gigawatts) in the approval process. UKA has also grown strongly internationally in recent years. The UKA Group's current project pipeline for wind and solar projects now exceeds 12,000 MW (12 GW) internationally.

With four main branches in the north, south, east and west of the country and moving forward into the future, UKA will further expand its local presence and strengthen its proximity to its customers by opening further regional offices and operating facilities. This will also allow the energy park developer UKA to deepen its local partnerships with municipal utilities, industrial companies, communities, and farms and agribusinesses.
