Operational Management: Boreas Energietechnik Takes Over Four Ventient Energy Wind Farms in South Brandenburg

Dresden, Germany - Last year, Boreas Energietechnik was awarded the contract for the technical and commercial management of a total of four wind farms with 14 Vestas V90 wind turbines and a total capacity of 28 MW in South Brandenburg as part of a tender by the British operator Ventient Energy.

According to its own information, Boreas was able to convince with its many years of experience as well as a closely interlinked technical and commercial management process, and a large Vestas portfolio under operation. The agreed scope of services includes a complete package, starting with monitoring by the control centre and the complete maintenance management, responsibility for the electrical system as well as revenue sharing and lease accounting.

The takeover of the first two wind farms from Ventient Energy started in January 2022, followed by wind farms three and four with 11 additional wind turbines in the summer and in November.
