LandStrom supplies several Nordex service points with green electricity

© Nordex SE- Green electricity for the wind energy industry: The Nordex Group relies on LandStrom for the energy supply of its service points in Germany.


Hamburg/Gevensleben (renewablepress) - Sustainable energy for the wind energy sector: 14 Nordex service points are now supplied with 100 percent green electricity from LandStrom. The aim of the cooperation is to gradually integrate other locations and further expand the cooperation.

"As a company that is actively driving the energy transition itself, we also rely on sustainable solutions for the energy supply of our service points," says Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Region Central at the Nordex Group. "After an open bidding process, we have found a reliable partner in Germany in LandStrom, which meets our demand for an economical, sustainable and climate-friendly power supply for our decentralized service points scattered throughout the country."

LandStrom supplies electricity exclusively from renewable energies and thus promotes independence from fossil fuels. "This closes the circle: the energy generated by renewables remains in the renewable system and reliably supplies companies like Nordex with green electricity. A real energy transition means not only enabling the change, but also living it consistently," emphasizes Bärbel Heidebroek, Managing Director of the Landwind Group.

The cooperation is to be further expanded in order to supply as many locations as possible with clean energy.
