Juwi Ranks Among the Top PV All-Rounders Worldwide

Wörrstadt, Germany - Juwi AG has consolidated its position as the world's leading service provider in the field of photovoltaics. Especially in the turnkey construction (EPC) of large-scale PV plants and in the sector of operation management and maintenance, Juwi is far ahead in international comparison.

This is shown by a current company ranking from the information platform Wiki Solar, who has analysed the market for PV power plants with an output of more than four megawatts (utility scale).

In the field of turnkey construction (EPC) of utility-scale PV systems, Juwi ranks fourth in the Wiki Solar ranking, making it the leading European company in this segment. According to Juwi, the current projects in South Africa with a capacity of 250 megawatts (MW) and Vietnam with 130 MW have once again contributed to this excellent ranking. In the field of operations & maintenance (O&M), Juwi even ranks third and also is the leading European company here. The largest single Juwi project in operations management is currently a 135 MW solar park in India. Juwi is also on the list of the 25 largest PV project developers. As Juwi points out, since the company was founded in 1996, it has planned and built almost 2,000 PV systems of various sizes with a total output of around 2,500 megawatts in more than 25 countries.

Outside Europe, two hybrid power plants at two mine sites in Australia as well as another large-scale plant for a research station in the Great Barrier Reef are among the innovative PV systems. In these projects, storage units will be added to the PV systems and integrated into the existing island grid via the Juwi Hybrid IQ software developed by Juwi.

"The latest statistics from Wiki Solar show that we are one of the few German companies to have established itself as a true global player. It also confirms that our activities started on the international solar markets some 20 years ago were an important step," says Juwi CEO Stephan Hansen.
