Iberdrola currently has 30 solar plants, 50 onshore wind farms and new offshore wind farms such as Saint Brieuc in France, Baltic Eagle in Germany and Vineyard in the USA under construction worldwide. Other current projects include the Tâmega pumped storage battery project in Portugal, the construction of more than 5,000 kilometres of high-voltage lines in Brazil and new distribution grids in the US states of New York, Maine and Connecticut.

Iberdrola announced that the previous investment record from 2019 will be exceeded in the current year 2020 with an investment sum of more than 10 billion euros.
