Change in Management: Frédéric Lanoë Becomes New CEO of the VSB Group

Dresden, Germmany - Following the strong focus on internationalisation of the VSB Group, the international project developer for wind energy and photovoltaics is also breaking new ground at the top management level. Since June 1, 2021, the internationally experienced manager from the renewable energiy sector Frédéric Lanoë leads the company as CEO.

Lanoë takes over the overall management from Marko Lieske, who has successfully led the VSB Group since the beginning of 2020. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), he will now once again be able to devote his full attention to the financial matters of the Group.

Lanoë has announced that as CEO he will focus on the further development of VSB into a sustainable and successful independent power producer. In doing so, we will transform the existing project pipeline into long-term portfolio projects," Lanoë said.

Lanoë (48) was CEO of Valorem, an international project developer, energy service provider and producer based in France, since 2017. Previously, he spent seven years with Portuguese developer EDP Renewables as Country Manager France & Belgium and Board Member. He was also President of the French wind energy association "France Énergie Éolienne" from 2013 to 2016. Lanoë holds a degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from INSEAD.
