Vestas Secures 73 MW order in Poland

Randers, Denmark - Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas continues to expand its presence in Poland.

The company has now received a 73 MW order from PAK-Polska Czysta Energia sp. z o.o. for the Czluchow wind energy project in northern Poland. This order is Vestas' first collaboration with PAK-Polska Czysta Energia sp. z o.o, a subsidiary of Polish utility ZEPAK S.A..

The contract includes the supply, installation and commissioning of 33 Vestas V110-2.2-MW turbines with a hub height of 120 meters. Vestas will manufacture the towers for the wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.2 MW, on site in Poland.

Deliveries and installation of the wind project in Czluchow are expected to start in the third quarter of 2023, while commissioning is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.

Wind turbines with a total capacity of around 7,200 MW are currently in operation in Poland.
