Framework Agreement Extended: UKA And Nordex Intensify Their Cooperation

Meissen / Hamburg, Germany - Wind farm developer UKA and the Nordex Group have extended their framework agreement for a further two years.

The cooperation currently covers a volume of 80 wind turbines, corresponding to an output of around 500 megawatts (MW). The first orders with a total capacity of 100 MW have already been been initiated under the new framework agreement and are due to start operation in 2023.

" Due to the very good collaboration with Nordex we have decided to expand this partnership. We are looking forward to implementing a large number of projects with Nordex in the coming years", said Gernot Gauglitz, Managing Partner of UKA about the extension of the framework agreement.

"Over the past few years UKA has established itself among the top German developers of wind farms. This collaboration also enables us to strengthen our position as one of the leading turbine suppliers in our domestic German market", adds Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Region Central of the Nordex Group.

Nordex stock has not been able to benefit from the framework agreement so far today. The stock is under pressure in the morning and is currently trading down 8.5 percent at EUR 8.96 (July 13, 2022, 12:30 p.m., Stuttgart Stock Exchange).
