6.8 MW Turbines: Nordex Receives 82 MW Order From Landwind

Hamburg, Germany - The Nordex Group has received another major order in Germany. The Landwind Group is ordering 12 Nordex N163/6.X wind turbines distributed among four wind farm sections.

Under the project name "Gevensleben" - named after the Landwind Group's headquarters in Lower Saxony - the wind farms are to be built in the districts of Helmstedt and Wolfenbüttel. The commissioning of the 6 MW class turbines is scheduled for winter 2023. The wind turbines will produce some 180 million kWh annually.

"Now we are finally able to make this long-planned project a reality and make a further contribution to the energy transition. As these powerful turbines are ideally suited to this site, we will be in a position to quintuple energy production here. This brings many advantages to our region, which will be reflected in an increase in jobs, trade taxes and the involvement of the public", says Alexander Heidebroek, Managing Director of the Landwind Group.

Nordex stock, which is listed in the global stock index RENIXX World, is trading at around EUR 8.20 today.
