Hamburg, Germany - The Nordex Group received orders for 1,235 wind turbines with a total capacity of 6.3 GW in 2022 as a whole.

This is a decrease compared to the previous year 2021, when orders were received for 1,636 wind turbines with a capacity of 7.95 GW (including a major order for 1 GW from Australia). At the same time, Nordex will be able to significantly increase its sales volume.

According to Nordex, the fourth quarter of 2022 accounted for 386 wind turbines (Q4 2021: 678) with a total capacity of 1.9 GW (Q4 2021: 3.3 GW). This is based on data from the Federal Network Agency's market master data register (as of Jan. 12, 2023).

The Latin America region accounted for 21 percent of the order volume with four countries, Brazil and Colombia being the largest individual markets. Canada and the USA accounted for 6 percent of orders in the North America region.

In Germany, Nordex has reached the top position with 174 turbines and 769 MW according to the evaluation of the market master data register for the year 2022.
