Wind Market France: Energiequelle Subsidiary Commissions Another Wind Project in Brittany

Vern-sur-Seiche, France - The French Energiequelle subsidiary P&T Technologie has commissioned the wind farm Le Ménec in the northwest of France at the beginning of 2023. The project is located on the Côtes d'Armor in the municipalities of Trévé and Loudéac in Brittany.

The project, with a total capacity of 18 megawatts (MW), comprises six Nordex N-117 wind turbines. The Le Ménec wind farm complements the three wind farms already implemented by P&T Technologie in the area.

"Together with local service providers, we were able to build the wind farm on schedule. After Bourbriac, it is now the second wind farm that we have connected to the grid in France within a few months," says Christoph Biger, site manager at P&T Technologie, welcoming the commissioning.

The new wind energy project increases the total installed capacity of P&T Technologie in France to 242 MW. With the Saint-Morand wind farm with a capacity of 9.4 MW, another P&T Technologie wind project is scheduled to be commissioned in France in 2023.
