Markus Lesser Leaves PNE: Extensive Changes in The Supervisory Board And Board of Management of The PNE Group

Cuxhaven, Germany - Markus Lesser, CEO of PNE for many years, is leaving the company with effect from July 31, 2024. This has far-reaching consequences and entails far-reaching changes to the Supervisory Board and Management Board.

The PNE Supervisory Board has decided to appoint the current Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Per Hornung Pedersen, as Chairman of the Board of Management (CEO) on an interim basis with effect from August 1, 2024 and initially until March 31, 2025. Pedersen will step down from the Supervisory Board and Marc van't Noordende will take his place at the head of the Supervisory Board until a replacement has been found. This search has already begun, according to PNE.

In addition, Mr. Roland Stanze, who already works for PNE AG as Division Manager/Executive Vice President, will also join the Management Board as COO with effect from August 1, 2024. The Board of Management will thus be expanded to three members again.

The search for a new, permanent CEO has not yet been completed, but is at an advanced stage.

Per Hornung Pedersen: “We are very pleased that we have found an ideal addition to the Management Board from our own ranks in Mr Stanze. With his many years of experience in wind energy, he will support PNE AG in its current growth phase and continue to drive its future development. This puts us in an even better position to participate in the dynamics of the international wind energy market.”
