Nordex Strengthens Sales and Project Business with new CCO: Ibrahim Oezarslan Appointed Chief Commercial Officer

Hamburg, Germany – The Nordex Group has appointed Ibrahim Oezarslan to the newly created position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective May 1, 2025. In his new role, Oezarslan will be responsible for all global sales and project execution activities of the wind turbine manufacturer.

Regional managing directors will report directly to him, while Oezarslan will continue to report to José Luis Blanco, CEO of the Nordex Group.

With this appointment, Nordex is reinforcing its leadership structure in an increasingly competitive market environment. “Ibrahim's more than 25 years of experience at Nordex, most of them in various customer-facing management positions, his impressive track-record and his deep understanding of the industry across functions and regions, will provide invaluable support as we continue to grow our business,” said Nordex CEO José Luis Blanco.

Most recently, Oezarslan served as CEO of the Europe Division – the company’s leading region in which Nordex is currently market leader. Prior to that, he held various senior management roles in service, operations, and sales. The civil engineer, who holds a master’s degree from Aarhus University School of Engineering, began his career in 1995 as a project engineer in civil construction projects in Germany and Denmark before transitioning into the wind energy sector.
