Hamburg/Warsaw

The wind farm is in operation in Gizałki, about 90 kilometres south-east of Poznań. It is the third biggest Senvion wind farm in Poland and the biggest with Senvion MM100 turbines worldwide. With a total rated power output of 36 MW, the 18 Senvion MM100 turbines will produce enough energy to supply 24,300 Polish households, which equals all private households in the nearby city of Konin, with green energy and save 24,000 tonnes of CO2 every year.

The commissioning of the 18 Senvion MM100 turbines was finished in July 2015 and they fed their first kilowatt hour (kWh) of renewable energy into the public grid in mid-May 2015. With a hub height of 100 metres and a rated power output of 2 MW, the turbines are the first MM100 turbines installed in Poland. With a swept rotor area of 7,854 m
