VSB Group Is Now Part Of The Swiss Partners Group

Dresden, Germany / Zug, Switzerland - Since 1996 the VSB Group nationally and internationally is active as a full-service provider in the field of renewable energies.

In January 2020 the company announced that the Swiss Partners Group will become the new majority shareholder. The acquisition of shares is now completed and the strategic alignment is underway.

The Partners Group, headquartered in Zug, holds 80 percent of the shares of the VSB Group on behalf of its clients now. Its founder, Andreas Dorner, will retain a 20 percent stake in the internationally active energy company. VSB thus complements the Swiss company's portfolio with the renewable energy and energy services segment. According to VSB, both partners are currently working intensively on the strategic alignment and are focusing on international growth. A strong project pipeline, interesting core and target markets as well as fresh capital for acquisitions should form the basis for this. "Competition for land and project rights is fierce. We can now continue to intervene effectively in the market with a high success rate in order to push ahead the expansion of the VSB Group, especially in Europe", said Marko Lieske, CEO of VSB Holding GmbH, about the advantages of the merger.

The Swiss Partners Group is active in the areas of private equity, private real estate, private infrastructure and private debt and manages assets of USD 94 billion. The company manages a wide range of investment programs and customized portfolios for international institutional investors. "Investment in climate-friendly and resource-saving green energy projects is increasing globally. VSB is an established player in the energy market and we want to further expand its leading position.
