Focus on International Growth: Next2Sun Concludes Important Cooperations in India

Delhi, India - During the delegation trip to India with German Federal Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Action Robert Habeck, Next2Sun AG, which is specialized in agri-PV systems, concluded important cooperations for the company's further international growth.

Next2Sun has signed a memorandum of understanding with National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI), the main umbrella organization of all solar energy players in India, on scientific research and data exchange for vertical bifacial agrivoltaic systems. "We are very confident that vertical bifacial agrivoltaics will be an important building block for the energy transition in India, especially in rural areas," said Subrahmanyam Pulipaka, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NSEFI, welcoming the agreement. "We see huge potential in India and are honored to demonstrate the power of our technology to NSEFI and explore it further together", said Next2Sun Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Sascha Krause-Tünker at the signing ceremony.

Next2Sun has also entered into another MoU with its Indian distributor Wattkraft Industries Pvt. Ltd. and Khare Energy Pvt. Ltd. for the installation of a first pilot project in India. Khare Energy is a leading renewable energy EPC company in central India that develops, builds, owns and operates renewable energy projects and distributed solar power projects that generate energy for residential, commercial, agricultural, government and industrial customers. "We are confident that vertical bifacial technology based solar project installations in India shall being paradigm change in the Solar power development with sustainable development approach to benefit farmers community, empowering rural India and enhancing support to utility grid managers in maintaining load profile in most smooth fashion", said Divya Prash Choraria, Managing Director of Wattkraft Industries Pvt. Ltd, welcoming the collaboration agreement.
