40 MW Sokal Wind Farm: Nordex Receives Order From Ukraine

Hamburg, Germany - The wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has received an order from Ukraine. The customer is the project developer Eco-Optima. The order comprises seven N163/5.X turbines with a total capacity of 40 MW including maintenance.

The turbines are intended for the 40 MW Sokal wind farm north of Lviv in the west of the country; they are to be installed on 118 meter high tubular steel towers and operated with a rated output of 5.7 MW.

Nordex Group as always was the best at finalizing technical issues and internal approvals within a short period of time, which is very important for the quickest project`s implementation”, welcomes the founder of Eco-Optima Zinoviy Kozitsky the order.

Nordex shares have risen slightly so far today and are currently trading at EUR 11.53.
