Expansion Course: Energiequelle Opens New Office in Stuttgart

Kallinchen, Germany - Energiequelle GmbH continues its expansion course. The company, which is internationally active in the business fields of project planning and operational management of wind energy, biomass and photovoltaic plants as well as substations and storage facilities, opened a new office in Stuttgart in October.

The office is intended to further promote activities in southern Germany in the areas of wind, solar and hybrid power plants and to strengthen the company's good market position in Germany. Energiequelle would like to establish itself as a regional and value-oriented partner and support municipal utilities, communities, local project developers and land owners in the expansion of renewable energies.

Stefan Groos is responsible for the expansion of activities in Baden-Württemberg and the other southern German states. He has been on board Energiequelle GmbH since August and in October opened the new location in Stuttgart, which is conveniently located directly at the airport. Groos previously held leading positions in Germany and North America during his nearly 25 years in the renewable energy sector. As a board member of a regional company in Baden-Württemberg, he was successfully responsible for the development and implementation of more than 120 MW of wind projects until 2019 and is now looking forward to his exciting new role at Energiequelle.

Energiequelle currently employs five people at its Stuttgart site and is still looking for additional colleagues. Energiequelle also plans to open a new office in Bavaria by 2024 at the latest.
