February 2024 Auction: PNE Successful in Latest Onshore Wind Energy Tender

Cuxhaven, Germany - The PNE Group was again very successful in the Bundesnetzagentur tender round for onshore wind energy turbines in February 2024. All three registered wind farms were awarded, PNE AG announced. The "Stuvenborn", "Zinndorf" and "Odensachsen" wind energy projects went through the current tendering process.

In Schleswig-Holstein, the "Stuvenborn" wind farm will be expanded by one wind turbine with 6 MW. In "Zinndorf" in Brandenburg, a 7.2 MW turbine will be built and in "Odensachsen" in Hesse, PNE will construct a wind farm with a total capacity of 13.2 MW. All three wind farms are scheduled to go into operation in the course of 2024.

In the tender for the bidding date of February 1, 2024, 129 submitted projects with a capacity of 1,795.4 MW were awarded a contract by the Federal Network Agency.

In the first two months of 2024, 88 new wind turbines with a capacity of 438 MW (2023: 69 turbines with 360 MW) went into operation in Germany. This is according to the latest data from the Market Master Data Register (MaStR) of the Bundesnetzagentur (data status: 08.03.2024).
