116 Nordex Turbines: Nordex Receives Mega-large Order From Türkiye And Delivers Again to Baden-Württemberg

Hamburg, Germany - The wind turbine manufacturer continues its growth and announces a mega-large order from Türkiye and a further order from Altus Renewables in Germany.

In Türkiye, Nordex will supply and install a total of 108 turbines from the 6 MW class (type N163/6.X) for two wind projects from mid-2026. The wind farms are scheduled for completion in 2027. The names of the customer and the wind farms have not yet been disclosed, Nordex said.

New wind turbines with a capacity of 1,310 MW were installed in Türkiye in 2024 (2023: 538 MW). Total installed wind power capacity climbed to 13,800 MW at the end of 2024 (2023: 12,500 MW).

In Germany, Nordex received an order for 39.9 MW from a subsidiary of Altus Renewables GmbH in Baden-Württemberg at the end of March 2025. The Nordex Group will install eight Delta4000 series turbines for the Seewald wind farm in the northern Black Forest from spring 2026. After several years of hesitant wind energy expansion in Baden-Württemberg, this project marks a new impetus, says Felipe Villalon Waldburg-Zeil, Director Sales Region Central of the Nordex Group.
