Nordex Milestone in Global Certification: Nordex Group Receives First Global Certificates for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Performance

Hamburg, Germany - The Nordex Group was recently awarded unified global certifications by for the following management systems: Quality (ISO 9001), Occupational health and safety (ISO 45001), and Environmental (ISO 14001).

These first global certificates represent a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing efforts to establish the highest global standards in the wind industry.

According to Nordex, global certifications are essential in the wind industry as they confirm compliance with internationally recognized standards and offer a competitive advantage by facilitating access to global markets and strengthening customer trust.

“Having worked systematically with certifications over many years, we are proud to achieve now our first global certifications, which represent an important and logical next step in advancing the Nordex Group’s certification journey. Achieving ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 certification demonstrates our unwavering commitment to deliver the highest quality products, ensure employee safety, and minimize environmental impact,” said José Luis Blanco, CEO of the Nordex Group.

The Nordex Group's global certification currently covers 40 sites, including locations in Spain, Germany, Chile, India, Mexico, and Norway. Over the course of 2025, the company plans to certify additional sites.

DNV has awarded the Nordex Group certificates to the following standards: ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems, ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management Systems

These certifications not only reflect the Nordex Group’s outstanding standards, but also strengthen the trust of customers and partners in the company’s commitment to sustainability.
