PNE Stock Rises: PNE AG Successful in Wind Energy Tender with 57.8 MW

Cuxhaven (Germany) - The PNE Group successfully placed all of its submitted projects in the third tender round for onshore wind energy conducted by the German Federal Network Agency. These include the repowering project “Hassendorf,” the wind farm extension “Gerdshagen,” and the energy park “Niederkrüchten” - all proprietary projects of the PNE Group.

In North Rhine-Westphalia, the “Niederkrüchten” energy park is being developed with five wind turbines and a total capacity of 36 MW. In Brandenburg, the “Gerdshagen” wind farm will be expanded with one additional turbine with a capacity of 7.2 MW. In Lower Saxony, the PNE Group is planning the “Hassendorf” repowering project with two turbines and a total capacity of 14.4 MW.

Additionally, a total of twelve wind turbines with a capacity of 85.8 MW are planned for the “Überhäsiges Viertel” wind farm in Lower Saxony. This project is a cooperation between the cooperative banks (Volksbanken) in the Cloppenburg district and PNE AG.

The publicly listed PNE Group has been active for over 30 years as a developer of wind and photovoltaic projects and also operates its own wind farms. As a Clean Energy Solutions Provider, the company offers comprehensive solutions for the planning, construction, operation, and repowering of renewable energy projects, as well as services to increase the efficiency of wind and solar energy usage.

Following the announcement of its successful participation in the tender, PNE’s stock saw a slight increase last week. It is currently trading at €12.96.
