Popular Employer: VSB Germany Once Again Recognized as a Great Place To Work® – Workplace Quality in the Renewable Energy Sector Confirmed

Dresden (Germany) – The German project developer VSB, specializing in wind energy, photovoltaics, and battery storage, has been certified as a Great Place To Work® for the third consecutive time. The company’s locations in France, Poland, and Finland have also received this internationally recognized quality seal, which is based on anonymous employee surveys and assesses leadership quality, development opportunities, trust, and team spirit.

“I’m delighted that the vast majority of our employees in Germany see VSB Group as an excellent employer. This positive sentiment is equally reflected at our international offices,” said Dr. Felix Grolman, CEO of the VSB Group.

The award underscores the company’s strong corporate culture. André Spalke, Global Head of HR, emphasized: “The renewed certification — now the third in a row — by Great Place To Work® confirms that we have taken the right steps while also motivating us to continue improving. In our young industry, it is crucial to foster a company culture where every voice counts and contributes to ongoing development.”

Based in Dresden, VSB is one of Europe’s leading developers of renewable energy projects and has been part of TotalEnergies since 2025. VSB’s core business includes the development and operation of onshore wind and photovoltaic parks as well as battery storage systems. The company operates its own parks as an independent power producer, is active in six European countries, and manages a project pipeline of over 20 GW. Since 1996, more than 750 wind and photovoltaic plants have been developed. VSB also provides services for a portfolio exceeding 3 GW and is involved in e-mobility for heavy-duty transport. Altogether, the group employs over 500 people.
