Nordex Shares Decline: Nordex Secures Another Order in Germany for Sauerland Wind Farm

Hamburg (Germany) - The Nordex Group has received another order from Germany: STAWAG Energie GmbH commissioned five N163/6.X wind turbines for the 35-MW Frettertal wind farm in the municipality of Finnentrop (Olpe district).

The site’s topography features a mix of deeply incised valleys and ridges. “This favors the use of the N163/6.X turbines with a 164-meter hub height, as the tall towers provide stable wind conditions at rotor height – a decisive factor for high full-load hours,” said Felipe Villalon Waldburg-Zeil, Director Sales Region Central at Nordex Group.

Installation of the turbines is scheduled for summer 2027, with commissioning planned for early 2028. The contract with the long-standing customer also includes a 20-year premium service for the turbines.

Villalon Waldburg-Zeil added: “The Frettertal wind farm will specifically strengthen a region in the Sauerland where the expansion of wind energy has so far been relatively modest, but thanks to modern, efficient turbine technology holds great potential.”

Nordex shares are unable to continue yesterday’s positive trend. Currently, the stock of the RENIXX-listed company is down 3.1 percent at €44.64.
