Stock Market Week 43/26: RENIXX Falls to New 2026 Low – Scatec, CATL, SMA, Solaria Energia and Bloom Energy Lose Double-Digit Percentages, Cadeler Surges

Münster – The RENIXX World extended its decline in the past trading week, falling sharply by 4.2 percent. Scatec, CATL and SMA Solar came under particular pressure. Offshore wind specialist Cadeler led the gainers with a double-digit rise.

The RENIXX is now again trading below its level at the end of 2025, wiping out all of the first-half gains. International equity markets are being weighed down by renewed increases in oil and gas prices, inflation and interest rate risks, and doubts over the financing of large AI and data centre investments. Higher financing costs can weigh in particular on capital-intensive energy projects. At the same time, the expansion of renewable energy is gaining in importance given high fossil fuel prices.

Company News Week 43/26

Norwegian solar and storage operator Scatec lowered its 2026 forecast for proportionate EBITDA in its power production business by NOK 300 million. The profit warning of October 21 weighed heavily on the stock. Scatec shares lost 22.1 percent over the week to EUR 7.40.

The turbines are intended for a new wind farm on New Zealand’s South Island. The order includes a 30-year service contract. Nordex shares fell 6.8 percent last week and closed at EUR 36.28.

US fuel cell manufacturer Bloom Energy increased its third-quarter 2026 revenue by 138.1 percent year on year to USD 1.24 billion.
