In The First Nine Months of 2023: Jinko Solar Subsidiary to Ship More Than 50 GW of Solar Modules

Shangrao, China - Chinese solar giant and RENIXX group Jinko Solar Holding, has announced that module shipments from Jinko Solar Co, Ltd, its main majority-owned subsidiary, have increased to a capacity of more than 52,000 MW (52 GW) in the first nine months of 2023.

The company's high-efficiency N-type modules account for about 57 percent of this total. By quarter, the third quarter of 2023 is the best so far. Of the more than 52 GW from January to September, about 13.04 GW of modules were shipped in Q1/23, then Q2/23 accounted for 17.8 GW, and finally Q3/23 accounted for more than 21 GW.

In total, the Jinko Solar subsidiary has shipped solar modules with a total capacity of more than 190 GW worldwide by September 30, 2023, according to its own information.

The company distributes and sells its solar products, solutions and services internationally to a broad customer base of utilities, commercial and residential customers. As of June 30, 2023, Jinko Solar had 14 manufacturing facilities worldwide, 24 overseas subsidiaries, and global sales teams in numerous countries, including China, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Jinko Solar shares are up 10.8 percent this week to 29.65 euros by Wednesday evening (closing price, Oct. 11, 2023, Stuttgart Stock Exchange). The share price is also up this morning.
