Operational Success - PNE Sells Photovoltaic Projects in Romania And Italy

Cuxhaven, Germany - PNE AG has successfully sold projects in Romania and Italy at the end of 2023. In Romania, PNE sold a project with a capacity of 61.5 MW. It is located in southern Romania in an area that is one of the most productive in the country, PNE announced. The buyer is a local company. The project has reached construction maturity.

The PNE Group also sold several PV projects with a total output of 114 MW in Italy at the end of the year. The package comprises a total of 12 projects. It will be acquired by an infrastructure fund managed by the Swiss Recap Global Investors AG. Recap (re:cap) is an international investment advisor for renewable energy infrastructure with a total portfolio under management (onshore wind, solar and battery storage) of 1.2 GW. Via WKN Italia, which is part of the PNE Group, PNE will now continue to support the projects until they are ready for construction.

Markus Lesser, CEO of PNE AG: "We are pleased that we were able to finalise two more sales in the European markets at the end of the year. The markets appreciate our expertise in the PV sector and trust in our experience. This is already the second sale in Romania this year. In July, we were already able to announce the sale of five PV projects to a French energy group."
