Capcora Accompanies: Swiss Fund Manager Finances Polish Solar And Wind Portfolio Via Swedish Asset Manager P Capital Partners

Frankfurt, Germany - SUSI Partners, a fund manager specialising in sustainable infrastructure investments, has secured debt financing on behalf of the SUSI Energy Transition Fund for a fully merchant photovoltaic and onshore wind portfolio with a capacity of 167 MW in Poland.

Most of the projects are scheduled to start construction in early 2024 and the entire portfolio of photovoltaic and onshore wind projects is expected to be fully operational in early 2025.

According to Capcora GmbH, the borrowing represents a cornerstone in the strategic growth plan of the Polish SETF portfolio company Luneos Green Energy ("LGE"). LGE, a joint venture between SUSI and Luneos founded at the end of 2021, has brought the projects to construction maturity. Since its formation in 2021, LGE has now built a pipeline of over 1 GW of solar PV and onshore wind projects and has now secured debt financing for the first tranche of projects. Capcora acted as as exclusive financial advisor to SUSI and LGE.

"We are proud to have advised LGE on this groundbreaking debt raising - a truly commendable effort in shaping the future of sustainable energy. The tailored financial solution provided by PCP will not only support the construction and operation phases but also highlight the importance of forward-thinking approaches in accelerating the adoption of renewable energy", comments Christian Boehm, Senior Vice President at Capcora.
