30 Years of Wind Power: Innergex Starts Commercial Operation of US Wind Farm Boswell Springs
Longueuil, Canada - Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. has commenced commercial operation of the Boswell Springs large-scale wind farm project in Wyoming, USA on December 31, 2024, just in time for the new year.

The electricity generated by the Boswell Springs wind farm will be supplied to US utility Pacificorp under a 30-year power purchase agreement. Pacificorp supplies electricity to more than 2 million customers in six western US states. The power generated will be transported to the interconnection point via a new 34.5-mile 230 kV power line constructed by Innergex.
Innergex operates in Canada, the United States, France and Chile and manages an extensive portfolio of generation assets that currently consists of interests in 90 operating facilities with a total gross installed capacity of 4,662 MW, including 42 hydroelectric facilities, 36 wind facilities, 9 solar facilities and 3 battery storage facilities. Innergex also holds interests in 13 projects under development with a gross installed capacity of 1,004 MW, one of which is currently under construction. In addition, there are future projects in various stages of development with a total gross installed capacity of 9,807 MW.
The Innergex share price, which is listed on the RENIXX World renewable share index, fell by 13.5% to EUR 5.36 in 2024. At EUR 5.34, the share is currently trading at the closing price level of the previous year 2024.
