Daniel Foley named CEO of ACCIONA Energy North America

Madrid, Spain - ACCIONA Energy announced the appointment of Daniel Foley to the position of CEO of ACCIONA Energy North America. Foley will apply his extensive experience in power marketing and the energy industry to solidify the company's market position in both wind and solar.

Foley moves into the CEO role from his current position as Chief Development Officer for the company's North American renewable energy operations where he led the company's wind and solar development efforts throughout Canada and the U.S. Foley's industry experience spans 20 years of working within the energy industry, particularly in power marketing where he negotiated power purchase agreements and alternative structures to support the construction and financing of electric generation facilities. Prior to his work at ACCIONA, Foley held a senior power marketing position at Invenergy and provided risk management consulting services to utilities, operating companies and other energy market participants as a senior manager for Deloitte and Touche.
