Personnel: Wpd Extends Management Board Contract With Björn Nullmeyer Ahead of Schedule

Bremen, Germany - The supervisory board of Bremen-based Wpd AG has prematurely extended the management board contract with Björn Nullmeyer by a further five years until 2027.

Nullmeyer is responsible for finance, treasury, group controlling / planning, taxes and transfer prices, accounting and human resources. In cooperation with the CEO, the expansion of the Asian business as well as possible purchase opportunities (pipeline) in the areas of wind onshore and solar are further focal points.

Dr. Klaus Meier, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, welcomed the personnel decision, saying that Nullmeyer, with his expertise and experience, enjoys full confidence and that Wpd ensures that the company's planned growth course can be continued consistently and with a high degree of personnel continuity.

As a developer and operator of wind and solar parks, Wpd is one of the market-leading companies in Germany and has currently 14 offices locations in Germany. The company's own project portfolio currently comprises projects with a capacity of more than 2,600 MW, of which almost 1,000 MW are in Germany. In addition to the international markets in Europe, Asia, North America and South America, Wpd is strongly expanding its activities in the German market in particular and has a project pipeline of 14,000 MW of onshore wind and 2,300 MW of solar energy.
